GREETINGS FROM THE LONESTAR STATE!
CineKink's Lisa Vandever is off to a week of film and other debaucheries at the South by Southwest Film Festival (www.sxsw.com) in Austin, Texas. Officially she'll be serving as a juror for the festival and scouting potential works for CineKink, but she's also looking forward to sampling the few BBQ spots overlooked on her last trip and discovering some new local haunts. If you'll be attending the festival as well, get in touch with Lisa via the SXSW registry. Or if you just want to make a suggestion for her visit and/or pitch in on a margarita, feel free to drop a line via the CineKink website.
CINEKINK @ NEWFILMMAKERS AND EARLY SUBMISSION PARTY (NYC)
CineKink will return to NYC just in time to kick off the festival's official call for entries with an appearance at NewFilmmakers and an early, er, submission party. Showcasing favorite works from festivals past, all filmmakers attending will have entry fees waived for the 2006 festival - or bring your work along and submit on the spot!

CINEKINK @ LEATHER LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE (NYC)
'A Taste of CineKink' will also be featured at this year's Leather Leadership Conference, coming up April 7-9 in NYC, an annual gathering of educators, organizers, academics and activists in the leather-S/M-fetish communities. A weekend of workshops, seminars and networking - and a party or two - the event is open to anyone interested in community service, leadership, group dynamics or the history of the community. SAVE THE DATES - CINEKINK NYC 2006!!!
Set for its return appearance October 17-22, 2006, CineKink NYC will again feature a specially selected program of films and videos that explore and celebrate a wide diversity of alternative sexuality. In addition to screenings, plans for the event also include a short film competition, audience choice awards, presentations, parties and a gala kick-off fundraiser.
CineKink is currently inviting sponsors to come on board for the event and a call for entries will go out shortly.
