1) CINEKINK: CHICAGO ... THIS WEEKEND!
We'll be wrapping up our 2010 tour on Friday-Saturday, November 19-20, as “the kinky film festival” makes one last, grand splash in Chicago!
With screenings at the Leather Archives and Museum, CINEKINK: CHICAGO will offer a specially-curated program of films and videos that celebrate and explore a wide and exciting world of sexual diversity, with works ranging from documentary to drama, comedy to experimental, mildly spicy to rather explicit - and everything in between.
FRIDAY - 8 pm
The festival kicks off on Friday, November 19th at 8 pm with the CineKink audience choice award-winner, S&M JUDGE, a compelling drama in which a respected judge finds his job, reputation and family life in jeopardy after he and his wife begin to explore sadomasochism.
An opening night reception for CineKink: Chicago will immediately follow this screening, made possible by the support of our friends at Shibaricon.
SATURDAY - 2 pm
On Saturday at 2 pm, MY SEXUALITY: A SENSORY EXPERIENCE shines light on five ordinary women from different backgrounds, sexual preferences and past experiences as they experiment with activities intended to boost both sense of self and sexuality. Afterwards, a panel discussion on women, representations of sexuality and sex-positive filmmaking will feature Leah Eva, who appears in the documentary, filmmakers Julie Keck and Jessica Kink ('Libidoland'), and educator/activist Clarisse Thorn.
SATURDAY - 4:30 pm
At 4:30 pm, playing with the hit short, THE SHEEP AND THE RANCH HAND, the "boylesque" sensation WAXIE MOON takes the world of neo-burlesque by storm in a thought-provoking and hilarious documentary look at one artist's unlikely journey.
SATURDAY - 6:30 pm
At 6:30 PM, the film shorts program YES, MISTRESS--including works by several Chicago filmmakers--asks (and sometimes answers!) the question: "How may I be of service?" The films in the mix include:

** Taxi, Episode One: Domme
** Trampling MX-Bear
** Service
** Housekeeper
** Libidoland
SATURDAY - 8:30 pm
And the festival concludes at 8:30 pm with THE BEST OF CINEKINK/2010, a mix of award-winning shorts deemed the year’s very best. The program includes:

** Hungry for Love
** Walking the Dog

2) SAVE THE DATES AND SUBMIT ... CINEKINK/2011
We've set the dates! The next CineKink NYC is scheduled for its eighth annual appearance March 1-6, 2011.
The specially-curated festival, which kicks off our annual season, will feature a short film competition, audience choice awards, a special adult entertainment showcase, presentations, parties and a gala kick-off event, with a national screening tour to follow.
So, be sure to mark your calendar! And if you're a filmmaker, this is THE time to send us your film, as it's the entry point for the entire 2011 season.
We're seeking films and videos, of any length and genre, that explore and celebrate the wide diversity of sexuality. Dedicated to the recognition and encouragement of sex-positive and kink-friendly depictions in film and television, we're looking to blur some boundaries and will be considering offerings drawn from both Hollywood and beyond, with works ranging from documentary to drama, camp comedy to hot porn, mildly spicy to quite explicit--and everything in between.
Our early-bird deadline is already past news, but the regular deadline is November 26th and the FINAL deadline is December 10th.
