Yes, we're headed to Vegas! But first, a couple of notable activities featuring some of our esteemed CineKink alumni…
** Michele Capozzi / 'Pornology New York'
As some of you are aware, Lenny Waller, a long-time icon of the NYC leather and S/M scene, recently passed. Michele Capozzi and several volunteers are working to preserve the memory of both the man and of a colorful, gritty time in NYC cultural history. If you'd like to help or have items to contribute:

** Matthew Pollack/ 'Run, Run It's Him'
Part of the 'Pornopalooza' line-up at CineKink NYC/2011, this oddly compelling biographical documentary plays Seattle's True Independent Film Festival (aka STIFF) on June 8:

2) CINEKINK ... LAS VEGAS!
CineKink - "the kinky film festival" - kicks off its annual national tour in Las Vegas, June 10-12, 2011!
With screenings at the city’s new arts-district cinema, theatre7, CINEKINK: LAS VEGAS will offer a specially-curated program of films and videos that celebrate and explore a wide and exciting world of sexual diversity, with works ranging from documentary to drama, comedy to experimental, mildly spicy to quite explicit - and everything in between.
*Friday
Among the headliners, first up on Friday, June 10 at 7:00 PM, PRIDE & PREDILECTIONS is a fun and festive assortment of shorts about sexual orientation, identity and one’s place in the world. And at 9:00 PM, it’s LUST, LOVE, LIFE, a sexy collection of shorts that celebrate those all-crucial four-letter words. Following the screenings, we'll be headed down the street for an opening night cocktail or few.
*Saturday
On Saturday, June 11, at 4:00 PM the shorts program ADVENTURES IN THE SKIN TRADE looks at various nuances when sex, work and money intersect. At 6:00 PM, SEX/CINEMA is a lively panel discussion about sex on the silver screen. At 8:00 PM, BEST OF CINEKINK/2011 features select, award-winning shorts deemed the year’s best during the festival's latest annual run at CineKink NYC. And at 10:00 PM, INDIETRO, winner of the CineKink Audience Choice Award Winner for Best Narrative Feature, unravels the late-night visit of Honey and Nick--two suburban “vanillas”--to the mysterious and sprawling home of George and Martha, the king and queen of kink, and their “maid,” Camille.
*Sunday
CineKink: Las Vegas concludes on Sunday, June 12, with a 2:00 PM screening of the festival’s Audience Choice for Best Documentary, KINK CRUSADERS, an engaging look at the International Mr. Leather contest, an annual event that draws thousands of men from around the world to compete for a title and a sash.
