Sending our best thoughts to everyone affected by Hurricane Sandy...and many thanks to those of you who have expressed concern.
Based in Rahway, New Jersey, we've been mostly without power and heat since the storm, but count ourselves among the lucky. We're graced with wonderful friends who have taken us in during the outage...and we still have a home to return to once it's over.
We're very glad to begin returning to some sense of normal. And with that...
1) CINEKINK: CHICAGO
We're headed back to Chicago for a hot, two-night stand, NEXT WEEK, November 16-17.
With screenings at the Leather Archives & Museum, CINEKINK: CHICAGO will serve up a specially-curated program of films and videos that celebrate and explore a wide and exciting world of sexual diversity, with works ranging from documentary to drama, comedy to experimental, mildly spicy to quite explicit - and everything in between.

Then it's off to the nation's capitol, where The Crucible will host us for a kinky double-feature, followed by an evening of hot play, the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

3) FILMMAKERS: PROBLEM WITH WITHOUTABOX SUBMISSIONS
We've been informed by Withoutabox, our online film submission service, that they've lost information for entries made via their system from October 25-November 2. If you submitted to us - or to any other festival - during that time-frame, please double-check your entry on their website.
If you find you need to re-submit, please do… we'd love to see your entry, but have no way of contacting you directly. Please indicate your original WAB# if possible, so we can try to match it up with the screeners we've already received.... and rest assured that we'll work with you to sort this all out as best we can. (And, as you'll see below, we've extended our next mail-by deadline to November 16.)

4) SUBMIT TO CINEKINK - DEADLINE EXTENSION!
CineKink --"the kinky film festival"--is seeking films and videos, of any length and genre, for our 2013 season. Dedicated to the recognition and encouragement of sex-positive and kink-friendly depictions in film and television, we're looking to blur some boundaries and will be considering offerings drawn from both Hollywood and beyond, with works ranging from documentary to drama, camp comedy to artsy experimental, mildly spicy to quite explicit--and everything in between.
Our "regular" deadline was supposed to be tomorrow, but in light of weather and Withoutabox complications, we've extended that to next Friday, November 16th. This is a post-mark or "mail-by" deadline, meaning you just need to get the screener into the mail by that date. (We will accept online videos as an additional option, but still require a physical DVD for final consideration.)
Our "final" deadline, with slightly higher submission fees, is December 4th.
