1) CINEKINK: CHICAGO - STARTS FRIDAY!
CineKink-–“the kinky film festival”-- is headed back to Chicago for a hot, two-night stand!
With screenings at the Leather Archives & Museum, CINEKINK: CHICAGO will serve up a specially-curated program of films and videos that celebrate and explore a wide and exciting world of sexual diversity, with works ranging from documentary to drama, comedy to experimental, mildly spicy to quite explicit - and everything in between.
*Friday
The festivities commence on Friday, November 16th at 8 pm with “Best of CineKink/2012,” featuring select, award-winning shorts deemed the year’s best of the festival.
*Saturday
On Saturday at 2:00 pm, sexy hijinks ensue in “Sweet Prudence and the Erotic Adventure of Bigfoot.” when the mythical beast is spotted at a remote nudist resort. At 4:00 PM, the documentary “Stage Brother” follows the quest of a young woman to Los Angeles and her dreams of making it in the world of adult entertainment. At 6:00 PM, a program of short works, “Kink & Kinship” - capped off by a special reception for attendees - celebrates the special sense of community that shared kinks and proclivities tend to engender. And at 9:00 PM, two Bolivian strangers participate in their own kinky version of a “Sirwiñakuy,” an indigenous tradition where a man brings home a trial “wife.”
Following the final screening, those attending any of CineKink: Chicago are invited to finish the evening at LRA: Chicago.

**T.V. TRANSVESTITE - NYC Tonight!
Shot in 1982 and not screened in public for over two decades, this "lost" film from Simone di Baano and CineKink alum Michele Capozzi captures a fierce House of LaBeija ball thrown at a Harlem Bingo hall, showing such legends as Pepper LaBeija, Dorian Corey and Sugar in a period before voguing and at the advent of AIDS.

4) SUBMIT TO CINEKINK - DEADLINE EXTENSION!
CineKink --"the kinky film festival"--is extending the "regular" deadline on its call for entries for its 2013 season. Originally set for last week, the postmark deadline for "regular" entries is now Monday, November 19. A "final" deadline for the festival remains at December 4.
Scheduled for its tenth annual appearance in February 2013, the specially-curated CineKink NYC will also feature a short film competition, audience choice awards, a special adult entertainment showcase, presentations, parties and a gala kick-off event, along with retrospective screenings commemorating a decade's worth of kinky programming. A national tour will follow, showcasing audience favorites from the NYC festival selections.
Filmmakers who submitted to CineKink (or any other festival) via Withoutabox, which reportedly lost data between October 25 and November 2, are asked to double-check their entries and to re-submit if needed. Anyone in the Hurricane Sandy-affected region needing more time for their entry may contact CineKink to request an additional extension.
