SUBMIT TO CINEKINK - DEADLINE EXTENDED!!!
CineKink is seeking films and videos, of any length and genre, that explore a wide diversity of alternative sexuality including - but by no means limited to - S/M, leather and fetish, bondage and discipline, dominance and submission, roleplay, swinging, polyamory and non-monogamy, and gender bending. (Far be it from us to define "kink" - if you think your work might make sense in this context, please send it along!) Selected works will be exhibited during the upcoming CineKink NYC festival (see below) and may also be chosen for inclusion in our planned series of traveling CineKink programs.
We've recently been undergoing a move to a new web server - and in the interim, some of the call for entries process may have fallen through the cracks. Thusly...film and video submissions now have an EXTENDED final deadline of July 15, 2005. (AKA one short month from now - so get cracking!)

ALUMNI SIGHTINGS
'Born in a Barn,' last year's CineKink Audience Choice winner for Best Documentary, will screen at the Frameline Film Festival in San Francisco. Elizabeth Elson's riveting look at the world of pony play will appear as part of the program "Pups and Ponies," playing on June 19th at 10:15 pm. For more details, go to http://www.frameline.org/festival/29th/index.html
Meanwhile, Bryan Jackson's mind-snapping (in a good way, of course) and CineKink award-winning 'Haircut' continues to span the globe, with its 24 festival appearances soon to include Lisbon and the Phillipines - and a recent win for Best Experimental at Reel Identities in New Orleans. (Stay tuned for more info on an encore NYC screening of 'Haircut' - and other CineKink faves - coming soon!)
THE 22nd ANNUAL LEATHER PRIDE NIGHT!!! (NYC)
Leather Pride Night, always a colorful coming together of NYC's S/M, leather and fetish communities, will again feature veteran auctioneer, Jo Arnone, presiding over an array of items to include leather and latex fetish clothing, unique toys and equipment, art objects, Broadway theater tickets and much more. Making the auction and festivities all the better, this year's beneficiaries are the Heritage of Pride (HOP), Ali Forney Center, Teens Prepared for Life, Inc., Bronx Lesbian and Gay Health Resource Consortium, and the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (NCSF)'s Communications Decency Act Lawsuit (go, Barbara Nitke!).
Saturday, June 18th, 6:15 to 10:35 pm at The Roxy, 515 West 18th Street (bet. 10th & 11th Avenues). Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. For more information, visit http://www.leatherpridenight.org.
SAVE THE DATES - CINEKINK NYC 2005!!!
Set for its return appearance October 18-23, 2005, CineKink NYC will again feature a specially selected program of films and videos that explore and celebrate a wide diversity of alternative sexuality. In addition to screenings, plans for the event also include a short film competition, awards, presentations, parties and a gala kick-off fundraiser.
Mark your calendars... October 18-23, 2005 !!!
