LOOKING AHEAD - WEDNESDAY AT CINEKINK
On Wednesday, October 19th, the action moves to Anthology Film Archives (32 Second Avenue, NYC), where we'll remain for the rest of the festival screenings.
First up at 7 PM, is WRITER OF O, a rich documentary that introduces the long-anonymous author of 'Story of O' and recreates scenes from the notorious S/M fantasy novel, preceded by the, er, colorful animated short, FIVE FUCKING FABLES. The directors of both works, Pola Rapaport and Signe Baumane, will be in attendance for a Q&A following the screening.
Then, at 9 PM, XAVIERA HOLLANDER: THE HAPPY HOOKER gives an updated look at the life and exploits of the infamous international madam. Director Robert Dunlap will also be in attendance for a discussion following the screening of his documentary.
