CINEKINK: ARUBA!!
Those who endured the "Sadism in Cinema" wedding-themed trailers during this year's run of CineKink NYC, are likely all too well aware that CineKink got married this fall. And now, FINALLY!!!, CineKink will be off on honeymoon! This will hopefully explain a certain sense of distraction and shamefully belated festival wrap-ups and thank yous (see below) this year - and don't even think about getting an email reply anytime right away. We'll be back soon, though, rested, tanned and ready to stuff a big turkey - and then it's back to making the world a safer place for kink-positive film and video!
NATIONAL COALITION FOR SEXUAL FREEDOM
One last reminder, if you want to support photographer Barbara Nitke in her fight against Alberto Gonzales and the Communications Decency Act, please make a donation to the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom. Serving as co-plaintiff and covering the expenses of this critical lawsuit, NCSF is a wonderful organization, one that is committed to creating a political, legal and social environment that advances equal rights of consenting adults who practice forms of alternative sexual expression. With recent reports of a beefed-up anti-obscenity squad at the Attorney General's office and a specific intent to target depictions of particular sexual activities, your involvement is ever more vital.
For more information and to make a donation, visit http://www.ncsfreedom.org
AND A FINAL BROUGHT TO YOU BY...
And still more sincere thanks to the sponsors of CineKink NYC for their help in keeping us vital! They are HX Magazine and Affinity Films, along with Arena Studios, Black and Blue Ball, DeMask, Devious Delights, Fetishwear.net, HotMovies.com, JT's Stockroom, Mercy Magazine, National Coalition for Sexual Freedom, Purple Passion, Redlight TV, SingleReel and Sissy Maid Academy.
Community sponsors include DomSubFriends, EditrixAbby, Gay Male S/M Activists, Lesbian Sex Mafia, Pariah's MC, Polyamorous NYC, Shooting People and The Eulenspiegel Society.
This sponsorship support is absolutely critical to making CineKink happen. If you have the opportunity, please join us in thanking them for their support of CineKink NYC - and of kink-positive film and video overall!

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
Stayed tuned to this space for news on encore screenings of CineKink NYC award winners - and advance notice as we take CineKink on the road. With many thanks to the folks at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts - and most especially film/video curator Joel Shepard - CineKink: San Francisco was a smash appearance, one that definitely begs a repeat. We're also talking with organizers in several other cities about hosting a hometown CineKink. If you're interested in having a CineKink come to you, drop us a line and we'll see what we can work out.
Also, be sure to look for future CineKink filmmaker updates, along with news on what kink-positive programming is available on video/DVD and where you can get it!
In closing - finally! - many, many thanks to our filmmakers, our sponsors, our advertisers, our volunteers - and mostly especially, to you, our audience, for being a part of the CineKink community. It was a definite pleasure to have met with so many great and wonderful people over the course of the festival and we truly appreciate the enthusiasm you've given to CineKink.
Thank you!
Lisa Vandever
Co-Founder and Director, CineKink
