THE BEST OF CINEKINK - PORTLAND!
Wednesday, August 16th - 7 & 9 pm
http://www.cinekink.com/pdx
The Clinton Street Theater presents a special evening of past and present favorites from CineKink, "the really alternative film festival." Featuring works that cut across orientations to celebrate and explore a wide diversity of sexuality, this kink-friendly showcase runs the gamut from S/M, leather and fetish, to sex toys and polyamory, to a really rough haircut and a bit of puppy play.
Pornographic Apathetic
(T. Arthur Cottam, 5 minutes, 2003, USA)
Sex like you've never seen it.
Haircut
(Bryan Jackson, 8 minutes, 2004, USA)
John gets more than he bargains for during a routine haircut appointment.
Open
(Teale Failla, 12 minutes, 2005, USA)
With intersecting timelines, an open relationship turns the lives of three women into a whirlwind of betrayal, bingo and sex toys.
Polly Wally
(Kirby Ferguson, 4 minutes, 2005, Canada)
The sweet story of a polyamorous guy just searching for his non-monogamous queen.
Shine: Confessions of a Rubber Fetishist
(Karine Baczynski, 28 minutes, 2003, USA)
A funny and unapologetic look at Shine, who goes to work everyday, plays chess, likes to dress in rubber and craves being whipped by his friends.
Pup
(Antonia Kao, 22 minutes, 2005, USA)
Two gay, Christian leathermen - Master Skip and Pup Tim - prepare to compete in the International Puppy Contest, a title contest for human canines and their handlers.
Plus, the should-be cult classic that just happens to be by the curator’s father!
Media Dreams
(W. Mathewson Vandever, 10 minutes, 1964, USA)
In the spring, a young man’s fancy turns to…his daughter’s Barbie doll?
CineKink's director and curator, Lisa Vandever, will be returning to her hometown of Portland - and to the Clinton Street Theater, site of her first Rocky Horror screening, sometime circa 1981 - and will be available for a Q&A after each show.
LOCATION:
Clinton Street Theater
2522 SE Clinton Street, Portland
ADMISSION:
$6 for Adults, $5 for Students w/ID, $4 for Seniors
