CINEKINK'S ANNIVERSARY TRYST
Save the date - Tuesday, August 5th - for a mini-celebration of our anniversary #5! Details coming soon...
SAN FRANCISCO!
We're slowly making our way home to the east coast, but first wanted to send along our thanks to San Francisco for such a wonderful reception! As always, many lovely memories, some wonderful friends, a few too many cocktails - and a batch of shiny new blurbs for the collection:
"... they do make good porn; it's just not terribly easy to find amid all the noise and hype, online and off -- let alone the kind of erotic cinema that film fans would dig (or get off to). That's where Lisa Vandever comes in. A producer and consultant with more than fifteen years' experience in film and television, Vandever founded the nationally touring, sexually explicit (and very popular) film festival CineKink in 2002. The festival selects, awards and tours sex-positive, edgy and, especially, arousing film and television selections from mainstream porn to indies, Hollywood and beyond."
- Violet Blue, SF Chronicle
"An orgy of celebration more than titillation, the six programs shine a flattering light on real people and real sex, with an endearing splash of art and humor."
- Michael Fox, SF Weekly
"Whether you're crazy for leather, proudly polyamorous, or you just like to watch, CineKink's popular, perverse film series educates while it titillates."
- SF Flavorpill

Thanks again to Yerbe Buena Center for the Arts for their continuing support. And thanks to everyone who came out for the SF screenings for such a fantastic welcome!
EVERYONE'S A CRITIC...
Or at least we'd like them to be! By giving your thoughts on the CineKink films you've seen, you help us - and other festival programmers - determine which works go forward to find a new audience. And you give the filmmakers welcome feedback on their works.
