Directed by Wiktor Ericsson, 2013, Sweden, 80 minutes.
A love story about legendary sexploitation director Joe Sarno, “the Ingmar Bergman of 42nd Street,” and his wife and collaborator Peggy. Following the couple for a year, as 88-year old Joe struggles to get a new project off the ground, the film’s intimate perspective reveals a filmmaker’s golden years and a quest for significance, while providing a look back at the evolution of softcore films into the hardcore porn that all but put the Sarnos out of business.

Oft-nude Tumblr star Elenore is wending her way through the dynamics of a relationship with a powerful business woman when she meets Eugene, a happily-married office drone. The two begin a liaison that is heavy on roleplay and cloaked in the semi-anonymity that can only come from digitally-born casual relationships. As Elenore slowly peels back Eugene's shell, she gets a glimpse of his motivations for finding her, and what was once an attempt at a strictly sexual exchange becomes a meaningful connection of intimacy both hilarious and absurd, sincere and complex.

SEX IT UP! (Panel Discussion)
What’s the difference between art and porn? The old joke is that “one is in focus,” but it’s also an aesthetic distinction that is increasingly irrelevant. Just as more “mainstream” indie filmmakers are utilizing explicit themes and imagery in their works, a new school of directors working on the adult side of the industry are creating works that defy the porn clichés. Several filmmakers and performers from the CineKink 2014 festival line-up will discuss what it takes to create stories that move behind the bedroom door and embrace the full range of our experiences.

Before starting a new career behind the camera, she embarks on a long road trip home, shooting with her favorite photographers one last time, and shedding some old lifestyle vices along the way.
