Festival Operations and Hospitality
And, of course, the festival would not have been possible without the work of a fine cadre of volunteers. Their efforts ran a wide and critical range - planning, advising, arranging and publicizing, schlepping and posting, ticket tearing and ushering, informing, schmoozing and hosting.
Many, infinite thanks to... Becky B, Bill Carpenter, Susan Degnan, Fatima, Simon Fieno, Marco G., Greg, Damien Grey, Jane, Alan Levy, Lew, Loren, Luz, Lizziey, Lola, Sur Madam, Mark S., Melissa, John Pepper, Robert, Mark S., Elizabeth Sheehan, Sissy Stephanie, Dizzy Swank and Tom.
For keeping our website ticking throughout the year, an endless, tequila-infused river of gratitude for Heow Goodman and Laura/ThreeDesignThree.
For helping get out the word, big props and some extra reward miles to the lovely Kelly Shibari.
For documenting our various hijinks and making sure we appear in the best light possible …much love to Stacie Joy with her amazing still photography, and to the industrious Bill C. ramping up our video unit and helping us all look sharp on the red carpet!
Many thanks also to John Mhiripiri, Tim Keane, Bradley Eros and all of the staff at Anthology Film Archives...and a fond farewell to Jose. Fourteen years and counting!
Kick-Off Gala
In addition to our festival volunteers, thanks go to the wonderful crew at Taj, our party venue. And, of course, our fabulous kick-off performers - the glamorous Crimson Kitty, along with Akinfe Fatou and Foxy Squire!
Awards and AfterGlow:
Thanks to the wonderful Bowery Bliss for hosting our festive awards ceremony...AND our infamous AfterGlow + Oscar party. And extra thanks to those adventurous sorts who braved another "snow event" and ventured out for one last night of wild abandon!
