Kinky Film Festival Hits Oakland for a Hot, One-Night Stand / Thursday, September 8
New York, NY; August 29, 2016 – Films that celebrate and explore a wide diversity of sexuality will screen on Thursday, September 8, at 9:00 PM, as CineKink, “the kinky film festival,” returns to Oakland for a hot, one-night stand.
Screening at The New Parkway (474 24th Street, Oakland), “Best of CineKink/2016” is a collection of sexy shorts deemed the best during CineKink’s most recent festival run. This year’s assortment, with works ranging from documentary to drama, comedy to experimental, mildly spicy to quite explicit, includes ‘Pepper’ (Patrick Aubert), ‘Dad in Mum’ (Fabrice Bracq), ‘Everybody Does It’ (Megan Brotherton), ‘Feminist Porn Filmmakers’ (Lora Hristova), ‘Wild Lovers’ (Isabel Dresler), ‘I Am a Tourist I Would Like to See Him Naked’ (Margie Schnibbe), ‘Locked’ (René de Sans and Mamana), ‘RITES’ (BunnyZ) and ‘An Appointment With My Master’ (Erika Lust).
Filmmaker Isabel Dresler and performer Jiz Lee will join CineKink’s festival director and curator, Lisa Vandever, for a post-screening discussion.
Admission is $10, with advance purchase strongly recommended; 18 and over only.

Explores the definitions of feminist porn, issues around genderqueer visibility, sex education, internet piracy and censorship. (Directed by Lora Hristova, 2015, United Kingdom, 28 minutes. Shot on location at the Berlin Pornfilm Festival, interviews include CineKink alumni filmmakers Jiz Lee, Shine Louise Houston, Petra Joy, Ms Naughty, Pandora Blake, Maria Bala, Lucie Blush and Alyx Fox, along with Audrey Fox and Yvette Luhrs.)
