marriage 2.0

marriage 2.0

Can an open relationship work? It can be a shaky proposition. For all its potential pleasures, jealousy and vulnerability do not magically disappear.

This love letter to San Francisco – a cultural epicenter of the alternative relationship movement – follows one couple on their search to balance personal freedom with emotional and sexual bliss. Their sometimes rocky explorations point to the possibility that growth, novelty, and sexual adventure can co-exist within a millennial marriage, one where unfettered physical and emotional intimacy fuels our passion while strengthening the bond of those we love.

Shot against sumptuous Northern California vistas, cast includes Ryan Driller and India Summer, along with Andre Shakti, Mickey Mod, Sadie Lune, Dylan Ryan, Beretta James, Daisy Ducati, Christian Wilde, Juniper Gold, and erotic cinema legend Nina Hartley, and features many luminaries of the sex-positive community, including Carol Queen, Marcia Baczynski, Reid Mihalko, Emily Morse, and noted TED speaker and author of the NY Times best-seller Sex At Dawn, Christopher Ryan.

Directed by Paul Deeb, 2014, USA, 126 minutes; World premiere.
